Holding an introductory, guidance, and awareness-raising workshop titled “From Student to Successful Individual: The Role of Guidance in Building a Student’s Character.”

To mark the start of the 2026–2027 academic year, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics—specifically its University Psychological Counseling Unit—held an introductory and awareness-raising workshop titled “From Student to Successful Individual: The Role of Counseling in Building Student Character.” The session was conducted by Dr. Sura Ghanim Mahmoud, Head of the University Psychological Counseling Unit, alongside Dr. Alia Qusay Ahmed, Dr. Mohammed Qasim Yahya, and Assistant Lecturer Rahma Nizar Ibrahim. The workshop aimed to introduce the functions of the University Psychological Counseling Unit and the counseling committees within the college’s departments. Additionally, student representatives from various year levels were invited to share their observations and the challenges they face; the team provided advice and appropriate solutions to enhance the academic and psychological well-being of the students at our esteemed college.
