Discussion of a higher diploma thesis in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics – Department of Computer Science entitled:(Designing and implementing a system to manage and follow up farmers’ affairs in the Nineveh Governorate Agriculture Directorate)On Tuesday, 8/2/2022, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, University of Mosul, a Higher Diploma Thesis (Design and Implementation of a System for Managing and Following-up Farmers’ Affairs in the Directorate of Agriculture of Nineveh Governorate) was discussed by the student Yarob and Adallah Sabri and under the supervision of Prof. Shaima Mustafa Mohieldin.The thesis presented by the student dealt with the design of a system that includes building a comprehensive database that includes information about farmers in Nineveh Governorate, including the name of the farmer, the area of ​​agricultural land and the type of property, in addition to agricultural entitlements of seeds, fertilizers, agricultural machinery and others.The study aims to enhance communication between the farmer and the Directorate of Agriculture through modern communication techniques, as the system works to fully manage the agricultural process with regard to the distribution of seeds, fertilizers and agricultural equipment, in addition to organizing the dates of receiving dues and informing them of the times through the telegram program. The system also provides the possibility of marketing agricultural crops for the farmer.The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mafaz Mohsen Khalil, and the membership of each of the Prof. Dr. Omar Abdel Moneim Ibrahim and Dr. Shaima Mustafa Mohieldin (Member and Supervisor)
