Technique of masking using WebP images using the M2PAM algorithm for social media applications

Entitled (Technique of masking using WebP images using the M2PAM algorithm for social media applications)On Tuesday 10-5-2022, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul discussed the master thesis:

For the student Omar Abed Najm Aboudi Al-Nuaimi and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sami NouriThe thesis presented by the student dealt with the technology of hiding confidential data based on the Mod 2 Plus Average Method (M2PAM) algorithm based on WebP format images, commonly used in social media applications as a covering medium for hidden data and using the Least Significant Bit (LSB) method. To hide the text data where the secret message was entered after being encrypted by one of the encryption methods Adleman (RSA), One Time Pad (OTP) (Rivest Shamir) on the proposed algorithm to obtain Stego File. By adopting the standards (MSE, PNSR, Q Index, SSIM), a noticeable superiority of the proposed method over other methods.The study dealt with the use of the technique of masking technology using WebP images using the M2PAM algorithm for social media applications
The study aims to design and implement a system for secure masking of WebP images as cover images based on the M2PAM algorithm within social media applications.
