M.Sc.Thesis Final DefenseAs part of the academic activities of our college, Ahmed Nidham Hammohas successfullypassed hisM.Sc. final defense of a thesis entitled “Design an Effective Method for Detecting Skin Cancers Using Machine Learning Techniques” in December 1, 2022 (Thursday).Ahmed has developed and implemented a hybrid group-learning-based algorithm and benchmarked it with other five machine learning algorithms and seven deep learning algorithms. Testing the methods was based on using 200 skin cancer images. The accuracy obtained from the proposed method was 97.1%, which outperformed the benchmarking.The final defense committee included the following members:
