PhD thesis (Constructing Intelligent Recommendation System for e-Books)

For the student Abdullah Mohammed Saleh Sultan and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Yassin Taha

The thesis submitted by the student dealt with the proposal of four models for recommending e-books, where three cooperative models were presented: the first model User-based weighted KNN (UWKNN), the second model called Item-based weighted KNN (IWKNN), the third model-based collaborative filtering model (MCFM), and the fourth model proposed is a content-based Hybrid Embedding Model (CBHEM).

The study aims to provide customized recommendations tailored to each user with the aim of enhancing the user experience by improving the accuracy and efficiency of book recommendations compared to traditional collaborative filtering methods and content-based filtering methods.
