The College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul held a course entitled “The Role of the Integrity Commission in Reducing the Phenomenon of Corruption” on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
Presented by “Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Rubaie”
The course dealt with defining the role of the Iraqi Integrity Commission, as it is one of the independent bodies active in combating the phenomenon of administrative and financial corruption, this phenomenon that international and domestic efforts have combined to combat and prevent its further spread, which must be addressed through effective legislation and consolidating effective administrative and judicial oversight and punishing perpetrators of financial and administrative corruption crimes with the harshest types of administrative and criminal penalties, and spreading community awareness to combat this dangerous phenomenon.
