The College of Computer Science and Mathematics participated in the “Bridge of Mercy” project to serve the community.

The College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul participated in the “Bridge of Mercy” humanitarian project, launched by the university to serve the community in Nineveh Governorate. The project was overseen by the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and included the participation of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz.
The college’s participation was part of its voluntary and academic efforts aimed at strengthening the university’s community role. Participating teams contributed to supporting the project’s field activities, which encompassed educational, service, and environmental aspects, particularly in the village of Batnaya, located in the Tel Keif district.
The “Bridge of Mercy” project embodies the University of Mosul’s vision of linking academic knowledge with humanitarian work and establishing the principle of social responsibility. This fosters sustainable development and underscores the role of educational institutions in serving the community and building bridges of communication with its various segments.
