The College of Computer Science and Mathematics is hosting an awareness program to promote intellectual awareness among students.
In the presence of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul hosted, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in the Electronic Space Hall, the activities of the awareness and intellectual program organized by the General Directorate for Combating Intellectual Terrorism in Nineveh, in cooperation with the University of Mosul, as part of its second season under the slogan “Be Aware.”
The program included an awareness lecture presented by Sheikh Abdul Hakim Abdul Sattar, which addressed intellectual and educational topics focused on enhancing students’ intellectual awareness, protecting university youth from extremist ideas, spreading a culture of dialogue and intellectual openness, and consolidating the values of citizenship and peaceful coexistence.
This activity is part of a series of awareness programs aimed at building a conscious university generation capable of confronting intellectual challenges, thus contributing to supporting social stability and strengthening the role of educational institutions in protecting thought and building awareness.
