College of Computer Science and Mathematics

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held an awareness workshop entitled “Harassment: Causes and Solutions,” presented by Dr. Mohammed Qasim Yahya.

The workshop addressed the phenomenon of harassment as a serious societal problem that requires concerted efforts from everyone to reduce it, through raising awareness, strengthening deterrent legislation, and providing community support to contribute to building a safe university environment based on mutual respect.

The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the concept of harassment and its forms, inform them of their rights and responsibilities and the mechanisms for reporting such cases, as well as promote a culture of respect and create a safe educational environment that contributes to protecting students and supporting their psychological and social stability.
