The thesis addresses data collection from large communities using ranked sampling, reducing costs and outlier impact. It employs the Exponential–Pareto distribution to fit small-value data and improve flexibility
The study focused on ranked set sampling to enhance distribution estimation and accuracy while minimizing outlier effects. Two methods for generalizing probability distributions were used, and their parameters were estimated using maximum likelihood, least squares, and moments with the R programming language
