The College of Computer Science and Mathematics hosts the Sustainable Technologies Conference sessions.

The halls of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul hosted the sessions of the first international scientific conference entitled “Modern Trends in Sustainable Technologies,” organized by the Center for Electronic Computing from February 11-12, 2026. The conference was attended by Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Al-Bazzaz, Dean of the College and Conference Chair, and featured the participation of a select group of academics and researchers from within Iraq and abroad.

The sessions included discussions of several scientific papers addressing the latest developments in the field of sustainable technologies and their application in supporting development and enhancing scientific innovation, in line with modern trends in research and development.

The College’s hosting of the conference sessions reflects its support for rigorous scientific activities and its commitment to providing a vibrant academic environment that contributes to the exchange of expertise and the expansion of scientific cooperation both locally and internationally, thereby strengthening the University of Mosul’s position as a leading scientific platform across various disciplines.
