A course entitled “Statistical Methodologies in Scientific Research” was held for the Qualification, Employment and Follow-up Unit.

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics/Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit held a course entitled “Statistical Methodologies in Scientific Research.”

First: General Objective of the Course

Course Objective: This course aims to introduce participants to modern statistical methodologies used in scientific research and enable them to analyze data and interpret results scientifically and accurately. This contributes to supporting sustainable development studies and evidence-based decision-making in environmental, economic, and social fields.

Second: Connection to Sustainable Development Goals
The Statistical Methodologies in Scientific Research course contributes to developing students’ statistical analysis and scientific thinking skills. It also supports improving the quality of university education and enhances the ability to produce accurate scientific research that contributes to addressing societal problems, supporting scientific innovation, and making data-driven decisions, in line with the requirements of sustainable development.

Course Summary:

This course covers the introduction to statistical methodologies used in scientific research and explains the role of statistics in analyzing data and interpreting results with scientific accuracy. It also aims to employ statistical methods to support sustainable development studies, helping researchers and students prepare evidence-based scientific research.
