Discussion of the master’s thesis in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics -Department of Computer Science entitled:”Encryption and Hiding for Database Protection”

The thesis addressed the protection of relational databases through the development of a hybrid model that integrates encoding, encryption, and information hiding to enhance data security and reduce the risks of unauthorized access.
The study addressed the processing and encoding of relational database data, the generation of multiple encryption keys, the use of AES for data encryption, and the hiding of encrypted data and security information within an audio file using LSB, with one-dimensional K-means employed to determine hiding locations.
The study aims to develop an integrated model for enhancing the protection of relational databases, reducing the volume of data entering the encryption and hiding stages through encoding, and preserving the ability to correctly recover the original data.
This thesis contributes to the following Sustainable Development Goals:
