Citizens Affairs Unit Holds Scientific Workshop on E-Governmen

Under the leadership of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and with the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Hazem, the Citizens Affairs Unit at the College organized a workshop titled “Citizen e-Government: A New Model for the Relationship Between the State and the Citizen.

The workshop explored the concept of e-government, its importance for improving institutional performance, its implementation in government departments, and its role in enhancing service quality, promoting transparency, and building trust between the government and society. Modern examples and applications were also showcased.

At the conclusion, the organizers stressed the importance of continuing such workshops, which support digital transformation and promote a culture of e-government, ultimately improving services for citizens. Dean Dr. Shatha Hazem also presented certificates of appreciation to all contributors.
