In support of scientific output and to promote academic writing, the Department of Mathematics at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, University of Mosul, announced the publication of a new scientific book entitled “Nonlinear Optimization,” authored by Professor Dr. Basim Abbas Hassan and recently published by Ibn Al-Atheer Publishing House at the University of Mosul.

This publication is a valuable scientific addition to the Arabic library in the fields of operations research and applied mathematics, offering a rigorous and systematic treatment of nonlinear optimization concepts, along with a review of its various methods and practical applications in several scientific and research fields.

The publication of this book is part of the college’s efforts to promote scientific research and encourage high-quality academic output, with the support of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghafour Jassim Salem. This will contribute to enriching the scientific community with specialized resources and supporting graduate students and researchers.
