The College of Computer Science and Mathematics is holding a scientific workshop on the application of the Bologna Process.

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the Department of Statistics and Informatics, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning, held a scientific workshop entitled: “Implementing the Bologna Process: Evidence and Learning Outcomes.” The workshop took place on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in the Electronic Space Hall.
The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Muthanna Subhi Suleiman, Director of the Department of Studies and Planning, who reviewed the conceptual and applied framework of the Bologna Process and its implementation mechanisms, focusing on the approved evidence, the formulation of learning outcomes, and their connection to study plans and assessment methods.
The workshop aimed to enable faculty members to prepare accurate and measurable learning outcomes and to familiarize them with the requirements for accrediting the Bologna Process. This contributes to the development of study programs according to quality standards and academic accreditation, and enhances the quality of education to keep pace with national and international standards.
