A panel discussion was held entitled: Ramadan and Human Rights: Religious Values ​​that Build a Society

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, the College’s Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the Human Rights Department at the University of Mosul Presidency, held a seminar entitled: “Ramadan and Human Rights: Religious Values ​​that Build a Society,” on Wednesday, March 15, 2026.

The seminar, entitled “Ramadan and Human Rights: Religious Values ​​that Build a Society,” aimed to highlight the role of the spiritual and social values ​​of Ramadan in promoting a culture of human rights and consolidating the principles of solidarity, compassion, and respect for human dignity, thereby contributing to the development of community awareness and the building of a cohesive society based on shared responsibility and peaceful coexistence.
