A training course entitled “Ensuring Equal Employment Opportunities Between the Sexes and Developing Skills Building Programs Using Artificial Intelligence” was held for the Qualification, Employment and Follow-up Unit.

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, through its Career Development and Follow-up Unit, held a course entitled: “Ensuring Equal Employment Opportunities for Both Genders and Developing Skills-Building Programs Using Artificial Intelligence.”
The course was presented by Dr. Lama Akram Abdullah on April 26, 2026.
This course aimed to empower participants to understand and apply artificial intelligence techniques in labor market analysis and the design of advanced skills-building programs. This contributes to enhancing equal employment opportunities for both genders, improving the alignment of skills with labor market needs, and supporting data-driven decision-making in employment and human resource development. These objectives align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 10 on gender equality through promoting fairness in employment opportunities, Goal 4 on quality education through the development of innovative learning and skills-building programs, and Goal 8 on decent work and economic growth through improving employment opportunities and enhancing labor market efficiency using artificial intelligence techniques.
