Conducting a course titled “Email Marketing: Sending Offers via Email,” in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit.

Under the sponsorship and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Respected Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a course entitled: (E-mail marketing by sending offers by e-mail)

Course objectives
Understand the basics of professional email: Learn how to manage academic or research email campaigns effectively. Crafting attractive content: Learn how to write attractive headlines and brief, useful content that encourages the recipient to read and interact with the presentation. Organizing mailing lists: Classifying recipients (students, researchers, scientific departments) to ensure that the message reaches the target group accurately. Commitment to academic standards and ethics: respecting privacy, clarity, and high professionalism in official correspondence.
Sustainable development goals
This course is directly linked to several key goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the academic and educational environment.
1- Goal 4: Quality Education How does the course serve him? Facilitating the access of scientific information, study plans, and lecture and workshop presentations to students and researchers quickly and with high quality. Employing modern communication tools to ensure equitable and sustainable access to knowledge for all without spatial or temporal obstacles.2
. Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production How does the course serve him? A radical shift towards a paperless academic environment by dispensing with print advertisements and paper leaflets for events and replacing them with digital presentations. Reducing institutional waste and enhancing the efficiency of consumption of available resources on campus.
3. Goal 13: Climate Action How does the cycle serve it? Reducing the carbon footprint of the university and educational institutions by reducing printing operations and transportation associated with the distribution of traditional advertisements, and relying on clean technological solutions.4. Goal 17: Establish partnerships to achieve the goals. How does the course serve him? Building bridges of cooperation and effective communication between scientific departments, researchers, and various academic institutions through organized mail channels that support the exchange of ideas and joint initiatives.
