Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College organized a course as part of the 2026–2027 Continuing Education series, titled: “Using Excel for Optimization Applications.”

The course aims to enable participants to formulate optimization models and represent them in spreadsheets. Additionally, it provides training on solving resource allocation problems, conducting sensitivity analysis, and interpreting solution reports to achieve the optimal solution.
