Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, the Department of Statistics and Informatics at the College organized a training course titled: “Statistical Analysis of Time Series Using Minitab Software.”

Course Objectives:

1. Understanding the concept of time series and their importance in statistical analysis.

2. Identifying the components of a time series and the methods used to analyze them.

3. Entering and organizing time series data using Minitab software.

4. Graphically representing time series data and interpreting the patterns and trends within them.

5. Analyzing general trends and seasonal variations in the data.

6. Applying appropriate statistical methods for time series analysis using Minitab.

7. Understanding time series forecasting models and applying them practically.

8. Selecting the most suitable statistical model based on the nature of the data and analysis results.

9. Evaluating the accuracy of forecasting models using statistical metrics.

10. Utilizing analysis results to forecast future values ​​and support decision-making.
