Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Honorable Dean of the College, Professor Doha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a scientific workshop entitled Software-Defined Networking on Monday 3/18/2024.
Workshop objectives
Identify Network Components The northbound interface is an API protocol that allows a lower-level network component to communicate with a higher-level or more centralized component, while — conversely — the southbound interface allows a higher-level component to send commands to lower-level network components . The south interface in SDN is the connection between the SDN controller in the middle control layer and the lower network elements in the data layer.
