“An Intelligence Cloud-based Real-Time IoT System for Enhanced Preservation and Visitor Experience at Nineveh Archaeological Sites”

The thesis addressed   the design and development of an intelligent system based on Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and artificial intelligence technologies to monitor archaeological sites in Nineveh Governorate in real time, with the aim of supporting preventive preservation processes and improving the management of heritage sites through modern digital technologies.

The study addressed  the challenges facing archaeological sites, including environmental degradation, security risks, the limitations of traditional monitoring systems, and the lack of effective digital interaction with visitors.

The study aims to  to develop an integrated framework that combines environmental monitoring using sensors, intelligent crack detection using computer vision techniques, and data management through a cloud platform, while providing an early warning system and enhancing visitor experience through digital technologies.
