A training course was held entitled “Fundamentals of First Aid, Dealing with Stress and Psychological Support in Emergency Situations.”

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the University Psychological Counseling Unit held a training course entitled “Fundamentals of First Aid, Dealing with Stress, and Psychological Support in Emergencies.” The course, presented by Mr. Ammar Salah Al-Din Majeed on April 12, 2026, aimed to equip participants with the skills to handle emergency, critical, and domestic situations, as well as manage chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. The course covered shock management and first aid procedures for emergencies like fires, ensuring proper treatment until the injured person can be transported to a hospital or a specialist. The course contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

The College of Computer Science and Mathematics is holding a scientific seminar on strategies to enhance cybersecurity in Iraq.
A course entitled "Statistical Methodologies in Scientific Research" was held for the Qualification, Employment and Follow-up Unit.
