Holding a course entitled: “Using artificial intelligence systems to match graduates with sustainable job opportunities in cooperation with the public and private sectors”

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics/Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit held a course entitled: “Using Artificial Intelligence Systems to Match Graduates with Sustainable Job Opportunities in Cooperation with the Public and Private Sectors.” The course was presented by Dr. Lama Akram Abdullah on April 19, 2026.
Course Objectives:
This course aims to empower participants to utilize artificial intelligence systems in analyzing graduates’ skills and aligning them with labor market requirements. This will enhance sustainable employment opportunities and reduce the skills gap by building effective partnerships between the public and private sectors to develop smart solutions that support decision-making and achieve integration between educational outcomes and economic development needs. This course is directly linked to a number of Sustainable Development Goals, most notably Goal 4 (Quality Education) through developing digital skills and promoting lifelong learning, Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through improving job opportunities and increasing productivity, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through promoting institutional cooperation to adopt innovative AI-based solutions that serve sustainable development.
