discussion of higher diploma research in Civil Engineering Department
A discussion of a higher diploma in the geotechnical specialization of the student (Jihan Mohammed Mari)
entitled (design of an earthen wall fixed with nails of a case study)
was discussed on Thursday, 30/01/2020.
The research included a theoretical study on designing a model for an earthen wall with a study
of all loads on it and a comparison of theoretical results with the practical applications
of this type of earthen walls and reached a very good agreement,
the discussion committee consisted of:
1- Asst.Prof. Dr. Moataz Abdul-Jabbar Al-Obaidi … (cheif).
2- Dr. Qutaiba Nizar Qasim … (member).
3- Dr. Abdul Rahman Hani Taha … (member).
4- Asst.Prof. Amina Ahmed Khalil … (member and supervisor).
Then red the discussion committee’s decision, which includes accepting the research,
and granted the student a higher diploma degree.
