Holding a scientific workshop entitled “Software Security Engineering”
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a scientific workshop entitled “Software Security Engineering” on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. The workshop aimed to:
Ø Provide a brief overview of the definition of software confidentiality, explain its importance, the types of threats that software can face, and outline related issues in this field.
Ø Provide an explanatory description of the nature of cybersecurity and explain its difference from software security.
Ø Apply security in software engineering and highlight specific tools in this field.
