“Holding a Continuing Education Course Titled ‘Information Hiding for Beginners’.”

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Prof.Dr.Dhuha Basheer Abdullah Albazaz, and as part of the college’s ongoing series of scientific activities,
The College held a Continuing Education Course titled “Information Hiding for Beginners.”
The course was part of the Continuing Education plan for the academic year 2025-2026 and was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Nadia Maan Mohammed on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Course Objectives
This course aimed to provide participants with a knowledge-based and practical foundation on information hiding and how to use these techniques to protect sensitive data and information from unauthorized access, especially in the modern technology era where personal and confidential information is increasingly vulnerable to hacking and theft.
Course Focus
The course highlighted how to use hiding techniques to secure data and defined the types of data that require protection. This included practical applications using languages like MATLAB and Python. Furthermore, the course enabled participants to understand security challenges, how to effectively protect data using hiding techniques, and how to identify authorized individuals for data access.
