The main objective of this thesis is to address the limitations of facial expression-based emotion recognition systems in real-world environments by developing an intelligent system in the field of human-centered software engineering that enhances the user experience in customer service. This system builds upon recent advances in artificial intelligence and aims to adapt user interfaces according to the user’s emotional state, especially considering that current systems rely on rigid emotion classifications and do not take into account the functional context of
