College of Computer Science and Mathematics

The College of Computer Science and Mathematics Council at the University of Mosul held its sixth meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, chaired by the Dean, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, and attended by all council members.

During the meeting, the council discussed preparations for the upcoming visit of the ministerial committee responsible for program accreditation. The accreditation requirements for each department within the college were reviewed to ensure that academic programs align with approved national standards and that quality assurance programs and performance improvement plans are continuously monitored.

The meeting also addressed the allocation of doctoral student projects to align with the college’s proposed modern research themes. In this context, the academic departments were directed to take steps to encourage faculty members and graduate students to publish their research in reputable international journals, thereby enhancing the research standing of the college and the university.
