Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a course as part of its Continuing Education Series for the academic year 2025-2026, entitled “Using Robust Regression for Data Containing Outliers,” on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

The course was presented by:

The course aimed to introduce robust regression, a method used to estimate linear models of data containing outliers, and to explain how to identify these outliers using specific metrics. The goal was to achieve more robust estimators than those used in traditional methods.
