Discussion of the Master Thesis in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics -Department of Computer Science entitled: Designing a Simulation Model for The Concept of Internet of Behavior IoB
supervised by Lect. Dr. Omar Moyad Abdullah
This thesis explored the use of an Artificial Intelligence algorithm to predict optimal plant growth conditions. It presented an intelligent model based on a Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) architecture, designed as the core learning layer within the proposed neural network. This model was trained using a dataset collected from an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled site. The dataset comprised six factors representing the neural network’s inputs. To validate the prediction results, the data was supported by three different classification algorithms and then evaluated using four performance metrics. The resulting data was subsequently analyzed.
The thesis aimed to provide valuable insights into the application of AI algorithms in predicting optimal plant growth conditions. These findings also suggest the potential for improvements in smart and sustainable agriculture.
