Under the guidance of the University of Mosul’s administration, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics hosted an awareness and educational lecture on public safety and fire prevention on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The lecture was presented by Mr. Sufian Idris Al-Barzanji, Head of the Civil Defense Division at the University.

The lecture addressed the most important safety procedures to be followed within educational institutions, methods of preventing fire hazards, and proper procedures for handling emergencies, all aimed at enhancing preventative awareness among students and staff.
