Within the plan of postgraduate student “Fahd Saad Allah Ahmad” and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Saad Abdel-Jabbar Al-Rajbo and Dr. Nofal Idris Hassan, the seeding equipment consisting of a two-line was designed and manufactured. It is the first locally manufactured seeding equipment specialized in field experiments for researchers and plant breeders in universities and agricultural research centers in Iraq.The field application of the seeding equipment proved its complete technical success in achieving the opening of the seed lines, determining the rate of seeding and planting the grain, and its coverage within the criteria for the seeding mechanism of the wheat crop.It is the first scientific achievement for designing and manufacturing research seeding equipment at the University of Mosul, and it may be the first in Iraq.
