Discussion of A Higher Diploma Thesis in The Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture
Within the scientific activities of the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Department, a higher diploma thesis in horticulture and landscape architecture was discussed for the student (Sery Samir Mahmoud). Deputies Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs attended part of the discussion that was held on Thursday, March 17/ 2022.The study included the use of liquid amino organic fertilizer levels to improve the growth of olive seedlings of Bashiqa and Manzinello cultivars. The study concluded that the fertilizer levels improved the vegetative growth characteristics of seedlings and their mineral content, and the Manzanillo variety outperformed the Bashiqa variety in most of the studied traits. The study recommends using these organic fertilizers to obtain strong-growing olive seedlings to plant them in the permanent orchard.More details and results are available in the Thesis….The discussion committee consisted of:
