College of Agriculture and Forestry

Within the plan to activate cooperation between the colleges of the University of Mosul and the government departments in the governorate, the university’s slogan in community service was adopted by the university presidency. Today, Monday, 9/11, Prof.  Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College) visited the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Arkanh Muhammad Amin (Asst. Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs) and Prof. Dr. Iyad Hani Al-Allaf (Responsible of the Media and Government Communication Division). During the meeting, the Dean of the College met with Mr. Dr. Rabie Youssef Soran (Director of Nineveh Agriculture), during which the prospects for cooperation between the two sides were discussed, especially by holding seminars, workshops, and scientific lectures. Several issues related to the agricultural sector were also discussed during the meeting. The Dean of the College confirmed that it is ready to provide its services in its advisory office to the agricultural authorities in the governorate, especially the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate, because of its direct contact with farmers. On the other hand, the Director of Nineveh Agriculture welcomed the visiting delegation, hoping these meetings would be repeated between the two sides to achieve the desired goal of serving the agricultural sector.
