A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the Department of Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture/ College of Agriculture and Forestry / University of Mosul for the student (Ahmed Abdel Rahim Muhammad) on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Thesis title (Tissue propagation of three citrus roots and their response to the addition of nano- and regular iron and chelated zinc to the propagation medium). Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College) and Prof. Dr. Ali Farouk Al-Maadidi (Assistant Scientific Dean) attended part of the discussion.

The study aims to reach the best conditions for the propagation of three selected citrus roots suitable for the conditions of the region by studying the extent of the response of the three roots to propagation by tissue culture and demonstrating the effect of different concentrations of BA and Kin and their interaction on the multiplication of squash tips. Comparison between MS and MT media in the propagation of citrus roots during Stages of emergence, multiplication, and warning.
