A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the Department of Animal Production/ College of Agriculture and Forestry / University of Mosul for the student (Firas Khalil Ibrahim) on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Thesis title (study of genetic features in two lines of local and Ukrainian quail and estimation of slave and genetic similarity using polymerase chain reaction technology). The thesis aims to know the effect of the genetics of the two breeds on body weight, weight gain, the amount of feed consumed, the feed conversion factor, the egg production rate and the qualitative characteristics of the eggs produced.
