A master’s thesis was discussed in the Soil Sciences and Water Resources/ College of Agriculture and Forestry / University of Mosul for the student (Tahani Shukr Mahmoud) on Tuesday, May 8, 2024. The thesis title was (predicting some physical and water properties using the program Solipar2 and comparing it with some equations for different soil depths). Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College) and Prof. Dr. Ali Farouk Al-Maadidi (Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs ) attended a part of the discussion.
The study aimed to compare the measured and predicted moisture description curves for soils of different uses and depths using the (Soilpar2) program. Comparing the results of the Soilpar2 program with some of the equations used for the study soils and predicting some water and physical characteristics of the study sites.

The discussion committee consisted of:

Then, the discussion committee read the decision, which included acceptance of the thesis and awarding the student an M.Sc. degree.
