The Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry meets with several Graduate Students Accepted Under the “Study in Iraq” initiative.

Prof. Dr Ali Farouk Al-Maadhidi (Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry) received a number of students accepted into the college’s graduate programmes under the “Study in Iraq” initiative. This initiative, launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aims to attract international students and enhance the academic environment at Iraqi universities, including the University of Mosul. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr Hamid Hamoud Ali (Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs) and the Head of the University Psychological Counselling Unit at our college.
At the beginning of the meeting, the dean welcomed the students and congratulated them on their admission to the college’s graduate studies program. The dean emphasised the degree’s commitment to providing a scientific and academic environment that contributes to developing students’ scientific capabilities and promoting rigorous scientific research according to established academic standards.
The students expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and appreciated the efforts of the university and the college in supporting students accepted under the “Study in Iraq” initiative.
